First Libyan Humanitarian Plane Sets Off for Baghdad

TRIPOLI A Libyan plane left here for Baghdad Saturday, an airport source said, on the first humanitarian aid mission from Tripoli since the stepping up of moves to break the international embargo against Iraq, AFP reported. The plane, a Boeing 727, is taking an official delegation, including Aisha, the daughter of Libyan leader Moamer Qadhafi, along with journalists, an airport official said. It was also carrying a cargo of food and medicines, he added.
