A Chinese diplomat Xin Bin Shun yesterday said that Iran should promote the aims and objectives of the Islamic Revolution throughout the world.

Shun was formerly in charge of cultural affairs at the Chinese Embassy in Tehran. He is presently in Tehran to take part in the celebrations marking the 22nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The Islamic Revolution was launched based on some noble objectives such as fighting the oppressors and supporting the oppressed throughout the world. It also called for extending assistance to underdeveloped and developing nations so that they can achieve self-sufficiency and do away with the self-serving influence of certain arrogant powers. Although some 22 years have passed since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, many nations across the world have not yet heard the message of the revolution. In fact, if the noble objectives of the Islamic Revolution are revealed to all nations in the world, all the oppressed across the globe would join hands to establish a single system in the world ruled by justice, peace and equity.
