TEHRAN - The Hormozgan Branch of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has produced "The Unending Flight" - a documentary film in commemoration of the passengers of an Iranian airplane shot down by the U.S. warship Vincennes in the Persian Gulf in 1988.

Two hundred and ninety passengers including 49 children and 8 babies were martyred in the savage attack.

The 25-minute documentary, which is based on the memories of the rescue team, was directed by Abd-ur-Rasoul Hamidi and will be broadcast nationally on Iranian television on July 3, the anniversary of the tragic event.
