TEHRAN -- The Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art is to be inaugurated in Tehran today, the Iranian Students News Agency reported on Sunday.

Iranian and Palestinian cultural figures will participate in the opening ceremony of the museum, which has been established at the Saba Complex of Iran’s Academy of Art.

The museum is to display works on the theme of the Palestinian resistance and will be a center for artists from Iran, Palestine, and other Islamic countries to hold dialogue on their cultural, ideological, and religious ties.

The organizers hope to make the museum the heart of faith, steadfastness, and idealism in the Islamic world and aim to develop an extensive global cultural movement with the help of Islamic artists in order to better inform the world about the Palestinian Intifada.
