TEHRAN -- Tehran’s Mani Galery plans to hold an exhibition displaying the works of Japanese painter Shigeru Yama from November 3 to 8.

Yama paints his works on papyrus with watercolor. The structure of that type of paper has been well utilized by him in creating sand landscapes, which will be exhibited in the show.

“Today, Japan has many talented youth, but the world only pays attention to Japan’s economy and the products manufactured in the country,” the Persian service of IRNA quoted him as saying on Tuesday.

The Mani Galery is located at No. 43, Dejamju St., North Dibaji St., Farmanieh Ave.
