Iran won the women’s table tennis bronze medal.
Consisting of Foruq Bakhtiari, Narges Khazaii, and Mahin Ahmadi, the Iranian team followed China and Hong Kong that stood top and second respectively.
Iran had already snatched two silver and three bronze medals.
In the women's Class 1 and Class 2, China won the glittering gold medal while the silver and bronze medals went to Iran with Ahmadi and Khazaii finishing runner-up and third respectively.
Bakhtiari added a silver to Iran's treasure trove, standing second at the women's Class 3 competitions. China took the coveted gold and Taiwan won the bronze medal.
In the men's Class 2 meet, Japan and South Korea grabbed the gold and silver medals while Aqil Alimardani and Hassan Janfeshani from Iran, tied at No. 3, bagging bronze.
