TEHRAN – Iran’s Volleyball Federation president here Wednesday vowed that the home side will stand top in Asia in 2009.

Mohammad Davarzani made the statement in an exclusive interview with the Mehr News Agency.
“No doubt, Iran will have the final say in Asia’s volleyball in 2009 and will lift the title,” reiterated the top official.
Davarzani said Iran will outrank Korea and Japan, adding the two teams are not among top world sides
