TEHRAN – The deputy commerce minister on Monday announced that Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has ordered the establishment of gold and jewelry special trade zone in Qeshm Island.

Talking to MNA, Mehdi Ghazanfari said that the cabinet has approved the establishment of the zone, adding the preparations will be done as soon as possible.
The initial decision was made in the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran’s (TPOI) meets with the Export Development Fund for Gold and Jewelry which will also promote Iran’s trade relations with the region.
