TEHRAN – Julio Alberico Hernandez Coste was named as Iran’s baseball coach on Saturday.

The Dominican coach will come to Tehran today to lead the team for the next three months.
The former Dominican Republic national team player is the first-ever foreign coach to lead Iran’s baseball.
Iran is getting ready to participate in 2009 Asian Championship which will be held in March 20 to 29 in the Philippines
