JAVAN in an article writes that Iran’s ‘Karar’ unmanned fighter jet which was unveiled on Sunday was a topic of discussion in mass media around the world. The story was covered extensively by the Zionist regime’s newspapers as well. Many news agencies and TV networks including AFP, AP, CNN, and many newspapers such as Los Angeles Times, New York Times focused on the report. Ahmadijejad called the bomber the ‘ambassador of death for the enemies’. The high-speed fighter can fly high for longer hours. The Karar fighter, equipped with a turbojet engine, carries explosives for hitting targets. It can perform different missions by hitting different targets. Iran, which says its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, has warned that any strike against its nuclear sites would be countered by measures not restricted to the Middle East region. Ahmadinejad said on Saturday an attack on Iran would be ""suicidal"", Israeli daily Haaretz wrote.
KHORASAN in an article says that the interior ministers of Iran and Pakistan held a three-hour meeting and both sides have agreed to establish a joint security force. The terrorist Jundollah group which uses Pakistan as a safe haven has waged several terrorist attacks on Iran and killed a number of militaries and civilians.
FARHIKHTEGAN in a commentary entitled the “Dire State of Iran Textile Industry” says today Tehran’s main bazzar is full of imported products including foreign fabrics which have overtaken the domestic textile products. Lack of attention to cotton crops has given rise to an unfortunate state under which the end price of Iranian textile products have lost their competitive edge in comparison to foreign products. Just 40 years ago over 250 thousand tons of cotton was produced annually in Iran but today it has been reduced to a mere 80 thousand tons per year.
SIASAT-E ROUZ has criticized the administration’s plan for relocating the Ministry of Transportation to the central province of Isfahan. The article says it seems the government has no proper plan for transition of its employees to the province as far as welfare, housing, and allowances of employees are concerned. According to the governor of Isfahan province relocation of the ministry would lead to the development of the province’s infrastructure but the main question is the province’s degree of preparedness to handle such a large influx of migrant government employees, and moreover possible sociological and demographic harms that the transition could cause in the province.
