TEHRAN - The Iranian president will travel to New York on September 24 to participate in the 70th United Nations General Assembly, the Tabnak news website reported.

The 70th United Nations General Assembly will kick off on September 25.
Hassan Rouhani will deliver a speech and hold meetings with heads of states and officials of other countries.

He is also scheduled to meet Iranians living in the U.S. and to have interviews with some TV networks.

This will be Rouhani’s third visit to New York since he came to office in August 2013.
