altTEHRAN – Iranian Navy commandoes have foiled an attempted  ship-hijacking in the Bab el-Mandeb, said Mahmoud Mousavi of the Navy.

The Iranian commandoes rescued the Iranian ship when it came under attack by eight pirate speedboats. This is the 21st clash between the Iranian navy ships and pirates since the beginning of the new Iranian calendar year (March 21).
