Head of Iran NPC Mahmoud Khosravivafa and the Secretary General Gholamreza Ebrahimi took part in the Chef de Mission Workshop organized by the IPC Academy.
“The representatives of 108 NPCs received an update on preparations for the 2012 Paralympic Games in the seminar held in London from September 7 to 9. The workshop gave the participants an idea of their responsibilities ahead of the Games,” Ebrahimi said.
“In the workshop talked about roles and responsibilities of Chefs de Mission, the qualification of athletes, volunteers, entries, accreditation, travel, team uniforms, and classification,” he added.
The representatives also attended the International Paralympic Day event held in London's Trafalgar Square on Thursday.
The London 2012 Paralympic Games will take place from 29 August to 9 September next year. More than 4,200 athletes from 150 countries will compete in 20 sports.
