Bulgaria says it is a mistake to blame any specific country for bus bombing

TEHRAN - Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov said on Thursday that it was a “mistake” to blame any specific country or organization for a bomb attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists at a Bulgarian airport on Wednesday that killed seven and wounded dozens, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz.

Mladenov made the remarks after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday accused Iran and Hezbollah of being behind the attack. Both Iran and Hezbollah have denied any involvement in the bombing.

The Bulgarian foreign minister said that he thought “it is wrong and a mistake to point fingers at this stage of the investigation at any country or organization.”

“We are only in the beginning of the investigation and it is wrong to jump to conclusions,” he added.
