Baku to host 2nd Iran Project expo in mid-Sept.

TEHRAN– The Islamic Republic plans to hold the 2nd edition of its specialized exhibition, titled “Iran Project”, in the capital of Azerbaijan Republic, Baku, from September 19 to 21, Mohammad-Ebrahim Naqizadeh, Iran’s Commercial Attaché to Azerbaijan, announced.
This exhibition would include various sections such as oil, gas, construction and industry, IRNA reported.
Underlining that Azerbaijan is now the twelfth largest importer of Iranian products which is an unprecedented record in Tehran-Baku trade history, Naqizadeh added that exports of Iranian services and products to Azerbaijan have soared at a time when the total volume of the imports of the neighboring states have suffered a significant decline due to economic crisis and falling oil prices.
The first edition of Iran Project, focusing on technical and engineering services in oil, gas, petrochemical, water and electricity sectors, was held in Baku in mid-November, 2015. The exhibition sought to boost the volume of non-oil export and easing trade between Iran and Azerbaijan.
