TEHRAN – The commander of the IRGC Quds Force has praised the high level of security in Iran as well as its influential role in the region and the larger Muslim world.

“Iran enjoys the deepest range of cultural, political and religious predominance in the Islamic world,” Qassem Soleimani said on Friday, Nasim reported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Soleimani criticized the Saudi regime for having “unjustly seized” the House of God in Mecca and handling the Hajj affairs ineffectively.
