Iran’s light crude oil price up 79 cents in a week

TEHRAN- Iran’s light crude oil price rose 79 cents in the week ended on March 2 to settle at $63.18 per barrel, Shana news agency reported on Sunday.

The country’s light oil price was reported $65.43 on average since the beginning of 2018 until March 2.

Iran’s heavy crude oil also experienced a $30-cent rise in the said week to settle at $62.03 per barrel.

The country has sold heavy crude at $63.96 on average since the beginning of 2018 until the mentioned date.

During the said week, Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)’s basket price stood at $63.58 per barrel with $49 cents increase compared to the preceding week.
