U.S. issues new sanctions against Iran

The U.S. Treasury Department announced Wednesday that Washington had imposed new sanctions on Iran. In particular, the U.S. sanctioned six individuals and three companies.

According to the US Treasury Department's statement, Washington is targeting the Ansar-e Hezbollah organization and the Hanista programming group with their punitive measures.
