Three parties receive permit

TEHRAN – Hamid Molanouri, director general of the political department at the Interior Ministry, said on Wednesday that the government has granted permits for the establishment of three parties.

The three parties, including the Society of Ambassadors for Development and Hope of the Islamic Iran, the Society of Thankful to the Islamic Revolution of Tehran Province and the Society of Development and Solidarity of Mazandaran Province, are permitted to start their activities, Molanouri said, ISNA reported.

He also said the government has extended the license of three religious minority associations.

Earlier this week, Molanouri announced that 58 religious minority associations have official permission for activity in Iran.

Thee associations include 29 Zoroastrian groups, 16 Armenians, 10 Assyrians and 3 Jews, he added.
