President Congratulates Spanish King on National Day

TEHRAN -- President Mohammad Khatami congratulated Spanish King Juan Carlos of Spain on the occasion of his country's national day, October 12.
In a message on Tuesday the Iranian president expressed hope that Tehran-Madrid friendly relations will be upgraded in the future due to the positive atmosphere pervading between the two countries.
President Khatami also felicitated the Spanish government and nation for the same occasion.
