TEHRAN The Head of the Islamic Propagation Organization (IPO) Hojjatoleslam Mahmoud Mohammadi Araqi at the 26th Nationwide Gathering of IPO Managers said that it is necessary to investigate the performance of the organization.

He added that, according to the verses of holy Qoran, apparent success and failure is not a proof of righteousness, but principles determine righteousness. "We have no doubt in our righteousness, goals and principles," he said.

Hojjatoleslam Araqi said, "We follow the path of the holy Qoran and Imam Ali (AS) but we accept the review of the ways and methods we have applied and will try to improve ourselves."

Pointing to Imam Khomeini's statement that described Iranian people as more dedicated and devoted than the people in the early years of Islam, he said, "We understand the issue, but unfortunately today social vices are increasing and statistics indicate that divorce and corruption are increasing. The problem should be uprooted and we should try to present a good image of Islam and the holy Qoran and defend the values of the revolution." He stressed that the enemies seek to disappoint the youth to undermine the revolution.
