TEHRAN- An expatriate investor, Hossein Sabet, has built a modern hotel on Kish Island which will open in fall season. He said, "This hotel has 200 rooms and is equipped with the latest reception facilities. It is built based on the architectural style of Persepolis." He explained that he has built the hotel because he loves his country and added, "Opening this hotel will help familiarize foreign tourists with the civilization of our country and its ancient history. Therefore, the true image of Iran will be revealed to those who try to say that Iran is not safe." According to Sabet, the tourism industry is the third largest industry in the world after the oil and automobile industries. He stated, "Despite our country's high potential in the field of tourism, Iran, unfortunately, has failed to earn high revenues through this industry and earns very little from it."
