CAIRO -- The Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Monday issued a statement detailing the new U.S. immigration rules that include the possibility of fingerprinting some Egyptian nationals upon their arrival in the United States. The ministry's Travel Department Chief, Mohamed Farid Munib, read to reporters the measures that the U.S. Embassy in Egypt presented Sunday "as part of the United States' continuing efforts to make America more secure after the events of September 11, 2001."
