1200-Year-Old Tree, Wonder of World

TEHRAN -- Sistan-Baluchestan's Zarbin trees are one of the wonders of the world. Their long life spans have made them unique.

According to a report released by natural resources experts, one of these trees in Dehpaid District of Sistan-Baluchestan Province is 1200 years old.

This unique tree is 17 meters tall and its trunk is 2 meters wide. It has acicular leaves, light brown thin bark, and fragrant sap.

This tree is called "Sahl" in the Baluchi language.
