Iran Rejects Charges of State Terrorism

UNITED NATIONS, New York Iran's permanent delegation here Thursday rejected charges of sponsoring state terrorism which was levelled by U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright earlier this week. The Iranian delegation published a communique in response to Madeleine Albright's designation of Iran among the so-called seven countries that sponsor terrorism. The statement Thursday said the Islamic Republic has long since been a victim of terrorism and has consistently condemned all forms of state terrorism.
