What’s in art galleries

* Paris-based Iranian calligrapher Abol Atighetchi plans to showcase a collection of works at the Seyhun Gallery from April 22 to May 4.

The gallery is located at 30 Fourth Alley, off Vozara St.
* An exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Ali-Akbar Sadeqi will be held at Aran Gallery from April 22 to 28.
The gallery is located at 12th Dey Alley, off North Kheradmand Street.
* The Golestan Gallery will be playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Shahrzad Ghaffari from April 22 to 28.
The gallery can be found at 42 Kamasaii St. in the Darus neighborhood.
* The Mah-e Mehr Gallery will display paintings by Alireza Diani in an exhibition from April 23 to May 9.
The gallery is located at 7 Nilufar Alley, off Africa Ave.
* Paintings by Farshid Maleki will be put on display in an exhibition at the Tarrahan-e Azad Gallery from April 22 to May 4.
The gallery is located at 41 Salmas Square off Fatemi St.
* An exhibition of paintings by Fereidun Ave will be held at the Khak Gallery from April 22 to May 16.
The gallery is located on 1 Jila Ave., off Basiri St, Qolhak Crossing.
* The galleries of the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) is currently playing host to three exhibtions.
An exhibition of photos by Siamak Jafari is underway at the Paiiz Gallery.
The Tabestan Gallery is showing book cover graphic designs by Mohammad Jahani-Moqaddam.
Works by a number of Indian painters are on display in an exhibition at the Bahar Gallery. The exhibit has been organized by the New Delhi Municipality.
All the showcases run until April 26 at IAF located on Iranshahr St.
* “This Blue Sky”, a collection photos by Majid Borumand, will be showcased in an exhibit at the Six Gallery from April 22 to May 2.
