Car production reaches 643,000 units in 9 months
TEHRAN - An analysis of production statistics for Iran’s three major automakers in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2025) shows that car production has reached 643,86 units, a decrease of 56,293 units compared to the same period last year.
According to IRNA, the total production of the three major automakers including Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro, has seen an 0.08 percent decline this year, however Iran Khodro's production has grown 16 percent.
Based on the Codal data, the three automakers produced 700,154 vehicles combined in the first nine months of this year.
Iran Khodro, compared to Saipa and Pars Khodro, which had declining production, recorded a 16 percent growth; this company produced 433,292 vehicles in the mentioned nine months a growing trend compared to the same last year, when it produced 370,486 units.
