Iranians mark 40th day since martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

TEHRAN – Iranians from all walks of life held solemn ceremonies on Thursday to mark the 40th day since the martyrdom of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

He was martyred during the first day of the US-Israel aggression against Iran on February 28. The attack, targeting his office in central Tehran, also claimed the lives of several top military commanders who stood as guardians of the nation.

Millions of Iranians flooded streets across the country to honor the memory of the late Leader, elite commanders, and other victims of the brutal US-Israeli terrorist assault. In Tehran, processions commenced at Jomhouri Square and culminated at the site of Ayatollah Khamenei’s martyrdom, becoming a powerful demonstration of national unity and unwavering loyalty to his revolutionary path.
