KERMAN (IRNA) -- Interaction with the international community is a must for Iran, said Vice-President and head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Esfandiar Rahim Mashaee on Saturday.

Addressing a local tourism gathering in this southeastern provincial city, he referred to tourism as a means to create opportunities for communication and dialogue with world nations.

"That is why Iran gives great priority to the industry," the official stressed.

Noting that future of the world would be based on dialogue, he said it would also belong with all nations, all cultures and all countries.

"In such world, arrogant powers are no longer the source of manufacturing common beliefs for others. They are not the only players in the international scene," said the vice president.

He added the future of the world would "no longer be based on injustice, monopolistic and discriminatory policies" adopted by certain powers.

Nations would enthusiastically listen to the language of peace and friendship spoken by those who believe in public interests, Rahim Mashaee stressed.
