TEHRAN – A number of 2 to 3 thousand jobless women in Tehran Province will have jobs by the end of the current Iranian year (ending March 20, 2007) if the required credits are allocated to this project, Farahnaz Ghandforush, advisor to Tehran’s governor said here on Wednesday. Referring to 70 job projects presented to her office so far, Ghandforush noted, “We have received many requests for loans.”
“There is no ceiling for loans offering employment for women,” Ghandforush maintained, stressing that all the quick-return projects received through the cooperatives established by women will be eligible for these loans with no limitation.
Anticipating a shiny future for women employment in the coming 2 years, Ghandforush stipulated ‘job plans’ should be consulted with the experts in the field before they are introduced to the market.
