“From Afar” enters Baja California Film Festival

TEHRAN -- The Iranian film “From Afar” directed by Ramin Mohseni has entered the 4th Baja California Film Festival which will take place in Tijuana, Mexico from August 27 to 31.
“From Afar” narrates three stories about life in Iran, each portraying a different set of circumstances. The young protagonist, who is played by Kurosh Tahami, journeys towards a particular spiritual insight or emotion in each tale.Jamshid Hashempur, Behnaz Jafari, Dariush Arjomand, Homayun Ershadi, and Mahbubeh Bayat also star in the film.

TEHRAN -- Ramtin Lavafipur’s documentary “Behind That Snow Covered Hill” has won an award at the “Sole e Luna” Doc Fest in Palermo, Italy which was held from July 22 to 29.
“Sole e Luna” is the Mediterranean and Islamic International Documentary Festival which screens and awards the world's most attractive films and documentaries produced since 2002 and which focus on either the Mediterranean Sea or Islam.
