TEHRAN - Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has rejected allegations that Tehran is interfering in Baghdad’s internal affairs and arming militia groups active in the country.

Those who claim Iran is committing such acts are only stating their personal views, and “as the president of Iraq, I do not agree with those views,” Talabani told the Al Arabiya network on Saturday.
“Our Iranian brothers are prepared to negotiate on all issues,” he said.
And Iran-Iraq relations should be expanded in various areas, he added.
