Osasuna midfielder Masoud Shojaei has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a foot injury, the Primera Division club have announced.

The 26-year-old Iran international broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot during last night's home defeat to Atletico Madrid and will be operated on tomorrow morning.
Masoud has made 18 league appearances this term for Osasuna, who slipped to 12th spot in the standings - six points above the relegation zone - following their loss to Atletico.
