Iran was defeated against the Philippines on Saturday and finished eighth in the 2015 Asian U-23 Women's Volleyball Championship.

Iran lost to the host in straight sets, 25-15, 25-21, 26-24 at the Philsports Arena.

In the final match, China beat Thailand 3-1 (27–25, 21–25, 25–21, 25–11) and won the championships.

In bronze medal match, South Korea defeated Japan in straight sets (26–24, 25–23, 25–15).

It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2015 FIVB Women's U-23 Volleyball World Championship which will be held in Ankara, Turkey from August 12 to 19.

China and Thailand will represent Asia in the competition.
