Wolves kill 50 sheep and injure 15 others in Torbat-e Heydarieh

TEHRAN – A flock of 500 sheep were attacked by wolves in the heights of Tajrood village, according to Ali Lari, the prefect of Torbat-e Heydarieh, IRNA reported on Saturday.

15 other sheep were also injured in the process, he added.
The wolves frightened the sheep and scattered them in such a way that most of them fell from the heights.
Torbat-e Heydarieh with 520,000 sheep and goat is an important city in terms of livestock in Khorasan Razavi province.
