TEHRAN - Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a top military adviser to the Supreme Leader, said on Tuesday that the Yemenis will finally achieve freedom and independence and Saudi Arabia will definitely be defeated.

The main objective of every country is maintaining its national interests, values and independence, he stated.
Safavi, the former chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, went on to say that the people can defend their countries with “national dignity and power”.

He stated that the “national power” consists of the people’s “spiritual and material capabilities”.

He added that the “national power and dignity” have both national and international dimensions.
