Iran on brink of new era in energy market: nuclear chief

TEHRAN - Iran is going to take on an active role in the world’s energy sector in parallel with its new upgraded position in the international relations, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) director Ali Akbar Salehi has said.
Salehi sent a message to the 12th edition of Kish International Energy Exhibition, dubbed Kish ENEX 2016, and highlighted the significance of the exhibition at a time when Iran is going to enter a new era of international relations, IRNA reported on Monday.“It is necessary to vigorously define the country’s role and share in future of the world’s energy in this new atmosphere,” he said in the message.
A total of 195 Iranian and foreign companies have attended this year’s exposition on Kish island.
