TEHRAN – “An informed source” told Mehr on Saturday that Iran’s policy toward Syria has not changed.

Iran has never put on agenda discussion about Syria’s legal president Bashar Assad, the source added.

Iran has always stressed that only the Syrian people could decide abou thteir future and no country can limit them in that regard, Mehr quoted the source as saying in response to recent claims by al-Monitor saying there has been a change of policy toward Syria in Iran.
