TEHRAN – Frankfurt Book Fair Director Juergen Boos and Iran Cultural Fairs Institute Director Amir-Masud Shahramnia met on Thursday.

The meeting was held as part of Iran’s plans for the world’s largest trade fair, which is currently underway in the German city.

Ways to expand the cooperation between Iranian and German publications and holding professional workshops on publishing by German experts in Iran were discussed during the visit, Shahramnia told the Persian service of MNA on Friday. 

Boos also accepted Iran’s invitation to attend the Tehran International Book Fair in 2017 and said that he will support Iran’s plan to join the Universal Copyright Convention, Shahramnia added.

The Frankfurt Book Fair opened Wednesday and comes to an end Sunday.
