Rafsanjani Calls For Propagation of Lofty Rules of Islam Worldwide

TEHRAN Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said here on Monday that Islam is the religion of logic, reasoning, and thought and that propagation of lofty Islamic rules worldwide would attract many followers and supporters. Addressing directors and officials of the International Center for Islamic Sciences, Rafsanjani dwelt on the increasing role and spiritual status of religion in man's prosperity and relief in the age of technology and on the growing importance of Islam in various communities.

Rafsanjani advised the center, where foreign theological students are studying, that compilation of a comprehensive charter for admission and graduation of students, regular educational program and presentation of certificates at the end of each semester would be effective in realization of its global programs and objectives. He underlined the need for proper and constant link between the center and the scientific and religious centers abroad to promote educational programs and benefit from the scientific and educational experiences.
