TEHRAN – Hessameddin Ashena, an advisor to President Rouhani, has reacted to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s anti-Iran remarks, saying Saudi Arabia has to make clear its stance toward Israel.

“Many Muslim countries believe that those who are regarded Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s allies are not qualified to defend Holy Quds and Kaaba,” Ashena wrote on his Telegram page on Thursday.

He also urged bin Salman to be aware of the fact that he will not be able to have nuclear arsenal, bombard Yemen, finance terrorist networks, buy $700b arms and at the same time enjoy an oil-free economy.
