Two more gold medals for Iran at Karate 1-Premier League

TEHRAN - Mahdi Khodabakhshi and Saleh Abazari of Iran took the spotlight at the Karate 1-Premier League being held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Iranian karateka Khodabakhshi won gold following his 7-3 victory over Berat Jakupi of FYR of Macedona in Male Kumite -84kg.
The last medal for the Iranian delegation was accomplished by Saleh Abazari who beat Netherland’s Tyron-Darnell Lardy by ‘Hantei’ (5-5) in the final of Male Kumite +84kg.
Amir Mehdizadeh had already claimed a gold medal in the Male Kumite -60 Kg.
Iran delegation claimed three gold medals, two silvers and seven bronzes in the three-day competition.
The fifth stage of Karate 1-Premier League started in Istanbul, Turkey on Friday and concluded on Sunday.
Paris, Rotterdam, Dubai and Rabat have all hosted Karate 1-Premier League events so far this season.
