“Breathing” named best at Italian filmfest

TEHRAN – Iranian director Farshid Ayyubinejad’s “Breathing” has won the award for best short film at the Human Rights International Film Festival held in the Italian city of Orvieto, the organizers have announced.

The short tells the story of several workers who work in a stone factory and are forced to hide in a dark room every time the insurance agent visits the factory.

Five short films and eight feature movies were screened at the festival, which was held from November 1 to 4.
