TEHRAN – Information and Communication Technology Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi inaugurated the kernel development plan for the National Information Network (NIN) during a ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday.

By the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20), Iran is projected to be equipped with an international internet exchange point (IX or IXP), which will provide services at global prices, the minister said.
