Aluminum ingot output up 3% in 9 months

TEHRAN – Iran’s aluminum ingot production rose about three percent in the first nine months of the Iranian year 1404 (March 21-December 21, 2025), data from the country’s mining development body showed.

Four major producers turned out 463,028 tons of aluminum ingots from late March to late December, up from 449,713 tons in the same period a year earlier, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

South Aluminum Company (SALCO) produced 194,232 tons, followed by Iran Aluminum Company (IRALCO) with 128,789 tons, Almahdi Aluminum with 117,391 tons, and Iran Alumina Company with 22,616 tons.

IMIDRO said Iran Alumina Company also produced 176,331 tons of alumina powder, 292,708 tons of aluminum hydrate and 730,927 tons of bauxite during the period.
