TEHRAN – Army Commander Brigadier General Amir Hatami has said the Iranian Armed Forces are strongly responding to Israel and the U.S. who started an illegal and unprovoked war on Iran on Saturday.

In a televised interview on Sunday, Hatami said the Army and Islamic Revolution Guards Crops (IRGC) are fully determined to defend the country’s interests, IRNA reported.

The Army along with the IRGC are conducting defensive and offensive operations against the invading forces, Hatami stressed. 
 
The brigadier general added that the combat drones of the Army are strongly hitting the enemies’ interests in the occupied lands and the broader region.
