TEHRAN Some Majlis deputies who had signed a letter requesting the impeachment of Education Minister Hossein Mozaffar met with Majlis Speaker Mahdi Karrubi and Vice Speaker Mohammadreza Khatami here yesterday.

The issue of the minister's impeachment is still shrouded in ambiguity.

The Majlis deputy from Khaash, Masoud Hashem-Zehi, one of the signatories to the impeachment letter, cited the lack of communication between the education minister and the Majlis as the main reason for the impeachment request.
