TEHRAN - A Russian expert in defense affairs said that hitting Afghans' $10 tents with $2 million U.S. bombs will not yield satisfactory results.

He also said that the attacks of the U.S. and its allies on the Afghanistan will soon stop and then the Northern Alliance forces will start a military campaign against the Taleban and that is the time when Russia will enter the war.

According to this Russian expert, Russia has provided Afghanistan's Northern Alliance with arms.

He also stated that the presence of U.S. forces in the region is not in the interests of Russia, since it is not clear when they will leave the region.
