Pasargad chorus to give a cappella concerts at Fajr festival

TEHRAN -- The Pasargad chorus will give a cappella concerts during the 23rd International Fajr Music Festival, which will be held in Tehran from December 21 to 29.

Conducted by Amir Abbas Habibi, the chorus will perform pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, George Frideric Handel, and Richard Strauss on December 23 and 24.
German museum officials visit FMI
TEHRAN –- The curator of Hamburg’s Museum Foundation for Posts and Telecommunications (MFPT), Oliver Rump, and the archive manager of Hamburg’s Kiekeberg Open-Air Museum, Martin Kleinfeld, paid a visit to the Film Museum of Iran (FMI) on December 12.
They highlighted the necessity of cooperation between Iranian and German museums in order to share experiences and information during their visit.
Esfahani to give drug prevention concerts in Tabriz
TEHRAN -- Iranian vocalist Mohammad Esfahani will give a series of concerts to combat drug abuse entitled “Clean Man” at Tabriz’s Amir Kabir Hall from December 16 to 18.
He previously performed concerts to promote the drug-free lifestyle in Rasht, Shiraz, and Kerman.
TMCA to screen “Have You Another Apple?” and “Persian Sea”
TEHRAN -- The Cinematheque of Tehran’s Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) will be screening director Bairam Fazli’s “Have You Another Apple?” on December 13 and Manuchehr Tayyab’s “Persian Sea” on December 15.
The venue is located on North Kargar St., beside Laleh Park..
