Mahram to participate in FIBA Asia Champions Cup

TEHRAN - Iran’s Mahram is going to defend its first place title in the 21st FIBA Asia Champions Cup basketball tournament which will be held in Doha, Qatar, from May 22 to 30.
The event, to be organized by the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF), will see Asia’s top 10 clubs facing each other at the Al Gharafa Stadium next month. Qatar will be hosting this tournament for the first time.The top ten Asian teams will be divided into two groups with the top four from each group playing in round robin format.
Qatar’s Al Rayyan, Mahram of Iran, Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia, the UAE’s Al Nasr, Iraqi Dohuk, Al Riyadi of Lebanon and Syrian Al Jala have confirmed their presence in the event and the other three teams have yet be announced.
The tournament is held annually and sees the top Asian clubs in competition.
Mahram won the title in Indonesia last year
